Shoplifters fire shot at Omaha Kohl's loss prevention privateofficer.org

OMAHA, Neb. December 30 2018 Omaha police are investigating an incident where a gun was drawn on Kohl's employees Friday night.

Officers were called to the Kohl's at 72nd and Pacific just before 5:30 p.m. to check on a shots fired call.

Two Kohl's loss prevention employees told officers a female and male were attempting to shoplift. The employees approached them in the parking lot where a struggle ensued and the male fired a shot and pointed the gun at the employees.

An off-duty Omaha police officer attempted to help the two employees.

No one was hurt during the altercation.

The suspects fled south in a black Chevy Avalanche with Illinois plates. It was recovered at Zorinsky Lake, and the suspects are now believed to be in a white sedan.
